ChamJam '99

1999 was the first year of LiveTX coverage of the ChamJam festival. A crew of 3 filmed all the events, interviews and music and produced a video package, used primarily to attract greater media coverage and sponsorship for the 2000 event.

1999 confirmed the establishment of the “new-school” disciplines. With technical help provided by Les Grands Montets, and course design provided by designers associated with the X-Games, and Lord of the Boards in the States, the X-Course was inspiring if slightly challenging.

The competition took place over 3 days and incorporated SkierX, BoarderX, TeleX, Big Air & 1/4 Pipe, and as ever, the Bosses des Bosses. The event was attended by several thousand people, who continued to enjoy the festival atmosphere, both on and off the mountain.
